Description
This workshop will provide you with an overall understanding of child nutrition operations and program management, with a focus on the major changes that have happened since the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010. You’ll learn how school nutrition programs are regulated on both the federal and state levels; proper financial management, including acceptable use of cafeteria funds; required procurement practices; nutritional requirements; and required professional development needs to better manage and support any nutrition program.
